low-carbon oxide production from waste

Low Technology Intro

LOW™ Technology

LOW™ technology integrates ARC with conventional hydrometallurgy to improve recoveries, reduce cost, waste and footprint. The first application of LOW is to turn Serpentine tailings into three low-carbon products: high-purity magnesium oxide (MgO), silica (SCM), and nickel-cobalt concentrate (Ni/Co).

How It Works

Turning Waste into Low-Carbon Oxides

Low-carbon oxide production from waste

stage 1

We dissolve metals from the feedstock using regenerated acid at atmospheric pressure

stage 2

Separate solids for use as sustainable construction materials

stage 3

Recover valuable minerals, crystalize the remaining liquor and thermally decompose it.

stage 4

The leftover liquor is thermally split in the ARC, re-making acid and base that go back in the process.

Why It Matters

LOW™ technology integrates ARC with conventional hydrometallurgy to improve recoveries, stabilize OPEX, increase profitability and reduce waste and footprint.

key benefits

ky.bnft 001

Multi-feedstock by design

Adapts across ores and residues - serpentine tailings, refractory Cu/Au, nickel laterites, hard-rock lithium, phosphates, uranium - by pairing our platform chemistry with ARC™ reagent regeneration

ky.bnft 002

Maximize Resource Recovery

Converts qualifying feeds into saleable products, neutralizing hazards where present and minimizing tailings generation

ky.bnft 003

Clean, low-carbon process

Less waste, water, and haulage; enables better carbon footprints and stronger sustainability performance - making permits and social license easier
